Efforts to reconcile spiritual values ​​with technological developments once again took center stage when MAXY Academy collaborated with the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and the Transformational Business Network (TBN) Indonesia. The three held a public lecture entitled "Beyond Tolerance: Faith and Prosperity in the Digital Era," a forum designed to open up interfaith discussions while enriching insights into social entrepreneurship amidst the increasingly rapid flow of digitalization.

MAXY Academy together with the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta in collaboration with the Transformational Business Network (TBN) Indonesia held a Public Lecture entitled "Beyond Tolerance: Faith and Prosperity in the Digital Era."

The activity, which was attended by 100 participants, was also attended by university leaders, lecturers, and students from various faculties. By presenting a space for interfaith dialogue and social entrepreneurship insights that inspire the birth of a young generation with integrity, competitiveness, and oriented towards social impact.

MAXY Academy, in collaboration with Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, and the Transformational Business Network (TBN) Indonesia, held a public lecture. This interfaith dialogue and social entrepreneurship insight is expected to foster a young generation with integrity, competitiveness, and a focus on social impact.

A public lecture entitled “Beyond Tolerance: Faith and Prosperity in the Digital Era” presents a unique meeting place between faith, technology, and social entrepreneurship. 

Organized by MAXY Academy together with the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and the Transformational Business Network (TBN) Indonesia, this event was attended by more than 100 participants from among lecturers, students, and university leaders.

It was the subject of a panel discussion at the Transformational Business Network (TBN) Asia Conference held in Kuala Lumpur last month, of which I had the privilege to be a part.

On 27th August, I had the privilege to visit Discover Muaythai (DMT) Gym as part of the TBN Asia Conference Impact Trip, organized in collaboration with ASBhive. Out of all the destinations lined up, DMT stood out immediately, a gym that’s not just about combat sports, but about second chances.

As part of the TBN Asia Conference 2025 Impact Trip, we had the opportunity to visit Batik Boutique, a Malaysian social enterprise founded by Amy Blair. What began with a mission to empower one single mother has since grown into an enterprise that provides fair wages, skills training, and sustainable income for artisans and seamstresses across the country.

On 28th August, our TBN Asia Conference delegates had the chance to step out of the city buzz and into something very different,  an urban farm located under power pylons in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This was QuinTerra, a homegrown GreenTech Impact organisation with a bold mission: turning food waste into sustainable solutions.

For the recent TBN Asia Conference impact trip, we visited Silent Teddies Bakery, a social enterprise that empowers the Deaf community through baking and entrepreneurship. The visit began with a guided tour around the bakery, where we witnessed the daily operations and met the talented bakers who bring each recipe to life.

October 1st 2024, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta inaugurated the Innovation Impact Hub by Maxy Academy, a modern co-working space designed to be a center for innovation and collaboration for students.

He discusses why he finds more satisfaction now than ever in the work he does because he has locked into his purpose, even though finding that purpose took a while. Transformational Business Network (TBN) Asia Conference, through TBN Indonesia, encourages business people, investors, and entrepreneurs to create social businesses or enterprises. The goal is to combat poverty and protect the environment.

One of the ways Transformational Business Network Asia (TBN Asia) seeks to realise their mission of alleviating poverty is through interfaith collaboration. TBN Asia has worked across different faiths to educate stakeholders through conferences and events; empower social entrepreneurs through a mentorship programme; provide seed funding for start-ups, and; matchmake social entrepreneurs to investors.

The first of Green Templeton Lectures 2023 was held in the EP Abraham Lecture Theatre on Thursday 23 February before an in-person audience with a live stream more than doubling the audience through those participating online.
